About Us

Chowchilla Adventist School

Proudly serving our community since 1914.

Parents are their child’s first teacher, and we value and embrace that connection. We exist to join parents as partners along the educational journey for their student. Personalized, accessible, faith-based education is the foundation of our philosophy as a school. From Kindergarten through Grade 8, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to LEARN, PLAY and GROW.

Unlike traditional single-grade classrooms, our mixed-grade environment allows students to learn alongside peers of different ages and abilities. This not only reduces the pressure to compete but also promotes a sense of camaraderie and collaboration among students. Research indicates that students in multi-grade classrooms perform as well as-if not better than-those in single-grade settings, likely due to the consistent exposure to varied levels of instruction and learning experiences.

Our classrooms feel like home, because at Chowchilla Adventist School you’re family. Your child will receive the specialized, robust education they deserve at an accessible price.

Children aren’t common. School shouldn’t be either. Spots are limited, don’t wait! Book a school tour.

Our Classrooms

In our multi-grade classrooms, students benefit from a less homogeneous learning environment where differences are celebrated and embraced. This fosters a culture of acceptance and understanding, helping students develop important social and emotional skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Furthermore, our excellent student-to-teacher ratio ensures that each student receives personalized attention and support. Our dedicated teachers are able to provide individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs and learning styles of each student.

Our curriculum also reflects our commitment to holistic education, with a unique blend of science, technology, and agrarian skills. From hands-on learning experiences to opportunities for pre-learning and relearning, we strive to empower students to explore their interests and discover their passions.
